President & Co-Owner Mario Gutierrez serves as President and Co-Owner of American Builders Group. With years of hands-on construction experience and a genuine passion for serving people, Mario has built his reputation by treating every project as an opportunity to earn a client's trust. Beginning his career in residential construction, Mario developed a strong understanding of construction methods, materials, logistics, and project execution. That experience allows him to guide clients through the construction process with practical solutions, honest communication, and a commitment to doing what's right. Today, Mario oversees business development and client relationships throughout Texas, including Houston, Dallas-Fort Worth, San Antonio, the Rio Grande Valley, and surrounding markets. He believes every successful project begins with listening, communicating openly, and following through on commitments. His goal is simple: to make every client feel confident they have a trusted partner from the first conversation through project completion.
Susan Baca
Chief Operating Officer & Co-Founder Susan Baca serves as Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of American Builders Group, where she leads the company's operations with a focus on accountability, organization, and long-term growth. She believes that exceptional projects begin long before construction starts, with clear communication, thoughtful planning, and systems that allow every team member to deliver consistently. With experience in business development, real estate, and construction operations, Susan has built her career around solving problems, improving processes, and creating structure that allows projects to move efficiently from planning through completion. She works closely with clients and internal teams to ensure expectations are clear, challenges are addressed proactively, and every project receives the attention it deserves. Susan is passionate about building a company clients can rely on, not just for one project, but for years to come.
